Keep the Kiddos Busy with ONE Simple Request!

Sometimes, as a parent we run out of ideas and ways to keep our children busy-we just do! Why not utilize this quick and easy way to keep the kiddos busy and creative without sending them away to the tablet or TV? The experience will at least be memorable and potentially very comical!

Puppets: Hand your child a puppet or two..or more. Task him with coming up with a show. Give a time limit (say, for example, "Call me to watch the show in 15 mins!"). Set the timer on your phone for the time you desire, letting them know to call you to watch the performance when the timer sounds.

Great!-Now, you can prep dinner or simply relax, all the while your child is practicing preparation skills, exercising creativity and presentation, not to mention this will be an unforgettable bonding experience, and tradition will become of it too!

Sometimes, as parent's and caregivers we run out of ideas and we default to putting our children in front of the screen instead. It isn't that youre lazy; it's simply that you've run out of ideas. Be sure to switch out the puppet-cast or characters, every few weeks, to maintain the interesting aspect and surprise for both you and your children!
